The feast continues! As one of the people who had the chance to partake of Tim Vidra's Easter menu, I have to tell you that this food was incredible. Looking at these photographs, I still taste the lemony ricotta and sweet spring peas, the thyme seasoned carrots, the perfectly roasted fingerling potatoes topped with a bright and creamy garlic aioli. Dye Your Easter Eggs Naturally!

You've probably seen dozens of articles and blog posts addressing the evils of artificial dye and encouraging the exclusive use of natural coloring in foods.  Here at Relay, we wholeheartedly believe that using natural, whole, real food is always preferable to anything artificial. So, with Easter right around the corner, we decided to try our hand at dyeing our eggs using natural, homemade dyes.  We wanted this experiment to be as kid, and mom, friendly as possible.  With this in mind, we took it to the kids. A Short Guide to April Planting

Winter finally packed its bags. It is hard to believe only a week ago, temperatures hovered in the 30s and snow once again covered the weary ground.  But, knock on wood, we've made it! The magnificent sunshine, bird songs, budding trees, and flecks of green are making us itch to get outside and play in the dirt.  Planting season was delayed this year, but the time has come.  Packets of Southern Exposure Seed Exchange seeds have been passing through our hands, on their way to some of your grocery orders.  To be honest, you're making us a little jealous. So, with the promise of a healthy mix of sun and rain in the coming weeks, we're starting to plan our gardens and prepare the ground. Read more …
