Midweek Menus: week of December 5, 2011

It’s always easier to eat nourishing weekday meals when they’re planned ahead in the relative peace and quiet of the weekend. When planning’s left till the day of, it often means a last-minute grocery run or eating a bowl of cereal.

With this new weekly Friday blog feature, we’re aiming to help you do your Relay shopping on Sunday, get your groceries Monday, and be set for the week. We’ll offer 5 recipe ideas, a list of pantry staples you probably have on hand, plus a comprehensive list of ingredients enabled with one-click Relay shopping lists. That means healthier family meals, more time for studying or girls’ night out, and fewer hectic weeknight errands.

I’ve used our Pinterest account to collect far more than a week’s worth of hearty, appetizing entrees using seasonal flavors appropriate to the fall-winter transition. If you don’t like a recipe suggested here, check out a whole host of other ideas on the Fall-Winter Recipes pinboard, and offer suggestions for next week.
